BASSically TREBLEmakers, in Rochester, New York, in the midst of planning its 2008 season. We'll be performing for the following:
* Saturday, June 7, 2008 - Rochester AIDSWalk
* Sunday, June 29, 2008 - Toronto Pride
* Saturday, July 19, 2008 - Rochester Pride
* Saturday, August 23, 2008 (T) - The New York State Fair
You're invited to join us for any of our events, and most especially for Toronto Pride. The last weekend of June is a busy time for LGBA bands with pride celebrations in San Francisco, Chicago, New York City, and Atlanta, but if you're not marching in one of these events, consider digging out your passport (or birth certificate with raised seal) and heading north of the border to march in Toronto Pride. With nearly a million spectators, Toronto Pride brings together all kinds of people from all over the world. You’ve marched in LGBT Pride events in the United States. Why not go international?!? - Lesbian and Gay Band Association (LGBA) is a musical organization comprised of concert and marching bands from cities across America and the world. Formed in 1982, LGBA has grown to 26 bands and remains dedicated to its original goals: Providing a network of lesbian and gay bands at all stages of development. Promoting music as a medium of communication among people. Improving the quality of artistic and organizational aspects of member bands. Stimulating public interest in the unique art form of community band music in our culture.
